Place the pot in the tree and secure it to a branch with a bit of wire. Continue like this, arranging the orchids throughout the tree. Done? Finish the Christmas tree with a few velvet bows.

 

 

Caring for orchids

In winter, it’s best to water orchids once or twice a week. Ideally, take them out of the Christmas tree and place them in a shallow dish of water for 5–10 minutes. This allows the roots to absorb just the right amount of water. Let the orchids drain thoroughly before putting them back in the tree.

 

 

After the holidays

After a merry Christmas and a festive New Year’s, it’s time to say goodbye to the Christmas tree. According to tradition, the Christmas tree is taken down on January 6th.
