Orchids at Milan Design Week 2026: style and elegance in top design
From Maison et Objet in Paris to Milan Design Week — orchids travel across Europe with their presence at the biggest design events. For decades, the exceptional colours and artistic forms of orchids have been a source of inspiration for designers. As such, orchids have become an integral part of the worlds of fashion and design. At Masterly — a showcase of Dutch design in Milan — the exclusive orchid exhibition in collaboration with Hayvenhurst Circular Luxury can be admired. Visitors can enjoy a moment of tranquillity in Hayvenhurst’s comfortable and sustainable designer furniture, surrounded by the enduring beauty of thousands of orchids.

Milan Design Week 2026: Hayvenhurst x orchids
The collaboration between orchids and furniture company Hayvenhurst demonstrates how botanical design and high-end design not only complement each other, but truly strengthen one another within interior design. Founders Jacky Jackson and Robert Milder believe that luxury encompasses not only craftsmanship and quality, but also respect for the planet. Their commitment to sustainability is therefore woven into every fibre of the brand — creating circular models with respect for nature, while simultaneously elevating modern living to a higher level. Orchids are known for their high-quality, aesthetically striking and long-blooming character, enriching spaces with natural elegance. This brings both disciplines together beautifully: sustainable design that adds atmosphere and comfort to a space.

Masterly — Salone del Mobile
From 20 to 26 April, the Dutch pavilion Masterly colours the heart of Milan with a lush orchid installation. During the world-famous Milan Design Week, Masterly shines as the premier stage for top design from the Netherlands — and this year, the orchids are once again in full bloom in the historic Palazzo Giureconsulti, a stone’s throw from the iconic Duomo.
The tradition: orchids for Milan
What makes the experience extra special: on the final day of the event (26 April), all orchids are traditionally given away to the public. A beloved tradition that draws hundreds of Milanese every year — leaving with a smile and a beautiful orchid.
Masterly can be visited from 20 to 26 April at Palazzo Giureconsulti, Milan. More information: www.masterly.nu.
